These acrylic and oil paintings are about isolation, connection and the ways that getting still can open up your sense of belonging. These paintings come from the intersection of heart and mind. The relationship of people to people, to nature, to animals and how the ordinary is elevated to extraordinary through paying attention in a deeper way. These figures are direct expressions of my deep experiences of connectedness in a time of isolation.
